About the course

This course prepares you to facilitate open and informed discussions about sexual relationships and practices and provides you with an informed understanding of various reproductive planning options, including contraception, abortion, pregnancy planning, and assisted reproduction. Learning objectives: -Discuss various sexual practices, orientations, and relationship structures in a respectful and non-judgmental manner. -Describe key historical developments in reproductive planning options -Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of various contraceptive options and explain how contraceptive efficacy and effectiveness are defined. -Understand the distinguishing features of different fertility awareness based methods -Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of methods of pregnancy termination -Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of infertility assessment and treatments -Be familiar with the processes and technologies used in assisted reproduction

Jenny Koos - main instructor

Jenny Koos is an author, lecturer, and teacher with extensive training and experience in fertility awareness and menstrual cycle health. Jenny has been a faculty member at Justisse College International since 2014. Jenny is Fertility awareness Educator and a Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner (HRHP) and has become a prominent voice in Swedish public discourse on bodily autonomy and health rights, educating thousands of people in Sweden and internationally, and has become an influential spokesperson on fertility awareness and menstrual cycle literacy. Her first book “Fertilitetsförståelse” (“Fertility Awareness”) was published in 2022.
